With a wooden mattress support system, you can be assured that your baby is being well supported during sleep. The support can also move to three positions to make it easy to reach your newborn, and it can be lowered as your little one grows. Designed with sturdy feet and a classic railing around the bed, this crib can easily transition to a toddler bed, a child’s day bed, and a full-sized bed providing years of style in your home. 

The Volterra Forever Crib is made in the Pali tradition of fine craftsmanship that focuses on quality construction. The finish on the crib is non-toxic, and all of our finishes are regularly tested to ensure that they exceed the required standards for lead. Volterra is a town in the Tuscan region of Italy’s rolling countryside, founded in the 7th century BC and worldwide known for the extraction and production of alabaster. This magical city is the inspiration for the Volterra Collection.

  • Complies with all crib standards required by CPSC (ASTM F1169-07 and 16CFR1508)
  • Finishes exceed lead and heavy metal content requirements required by CPSC (ASTM F963-07 and 16CFR1303)
  • Converting from crib to full-size bed helps our environment by eliminating the need for new furniture using more new raw materials

  • E1 Standard Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) exceeds CARB formaldehyde emissions requirements
  • Removable case tops in the event a repair is required
  • MDF back panels are attached using screws spaced every 6-8” for secure attachment and easy to access the case interior in the event a repair is needed
  • Adjustable nylon glides are attached to front case posts for leveling on uneven surfaces (only for cases over 30” in height)
  • Tip restraint packets are supplied for all cases over 30” in height
